About Miele's Mission
At 18, Bobby Miele had a one-in-a-billion medical anomaly. Bobby went into cardiac arrest on the baseball field in Connecticut. Bobby died for 3 minutes. He later learned that he had only a 0.5% survival rate. We founded Miele's Mission to raise awareness for his diagnosis of Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. Our goal is to raise awareness and funding for AED training and to purchase and provide AEDs. After three successful heart surgeries, Bobby's heart now is stable and beats at a correct rhythm, and he goes on to tell his story. Click below to read about Bobby's experiences, and more about his disease.
